Discover the heritage behind your next favorite pair of jeans.

From humble beginnings: a denim odyssey

My passion for vintage began at just five years old in 1976, influenced by the surplus of Neuilly's jeans imports. This deep-rooted connection led to collecting denim since 1986, opening Antik Bootik in St Tropez in '97 from Eureka frip Rouen, and eventually moving to California. There, at the Rosebowl Pasadena, sections #3381 and #3382 (1997-2004), we established "The Vintage Clothing Company." We wholesaled textile and workwear to renowned Japanese buyers like Kenji Hirano (Banana Boat), Max (Torrente), and top stylists from Polo Ralph Lauren, including Doug Bilhmaier, Melanie Jo Bendavid, and Lee Norwood. Our journey also took us through various locales, from San Diego's 6th avenue and 9th avenue, to Three Rivers on Sierra Drive, and Mendocino's Kasteen Street, each leaving an indelible mark on our denim story. These early days laid the foundation for AMOSKEAGJEANS, a tribute to all our denim friends, including American Rag Rudolf Falcon.

The art of loom state reproduction

What truly sets AMOSKEAGJEANS apart is our unwavering commitment to "loom state reproduction." We specialize in sourcing and utilizing deadstock denim, meticulously recreating the unique texture and feel of vintage originals. This isn't just about making jeans; it's about preserving a legacy. Each pair is a collector's showpiece, crafted with an artisanal dedication that ensures authenticity from the first stitch to the final wear. This approach defines our unique quality, honed over years of importing European workwear and an intimate understanding of true vintage textiles.

An authentic feeling, an artisanal experience

We believe that wearing AMOSKEAGJEANS is more than just putting on a garment; it's an experience. We want our customers to feel the artisanal craftsmanship, the deep focus on authenticity, and the rich history embedded in every fiber. Our jeans bridge the gap between historic deadstock fabrics and contemporary style, allowing you to wear a piece of history that feels uniquely yours. It's about empowering you with confidence, comfort, and the undeniable charm of true vintage, meticulously reproduced for today.

"Amoskeagjeans isn't just about vintage; it's about bridging the gap between deadstock fabrics and crafting collector's loom state showpieces. It's truly beyond ordinary."
